key ingredient logoSince technology is everywhere, let’s invite it in to the kitchen as well!! I’ve recently been introduced to the Key Ingredient Recipe Reader, and I have to say, the days of clipping recipes out of magazine or printing them offline are gone.  I don’t know about you, but the thought of organizing all the recipes I’ve done that with already is mind blowing.

The Key Ingredient Recipe Reader is simple.  Once you go through the simple process of signing up (you can sign up for free or do a Prime account) for an account, you sign in and have all the control. 🙂 You can add recipes, take recipes off, organize recipes, search by recipe types, and on and on!  And I have to mention, there is an app for those iPhone users too!

From there, you find THE recipe you want to make at your next family gathering.  After all, that is what we are after, right?  Finding the best recipes around and saving them for later use?

Another thing that I love having about this recipe reader is the fact that you can save your favorites for easy retrieval It’s, again, super easy to use.  I have mine all organized and know that some have been made already, while some have not. No stacks of papers for the “wish list” of recipes that you will someday make.

key ingredient Reader-in-KitchenNot only can you search for recipes at Key Ingredient’s website, but you can find recipes elsewhere and save them on YOUR Key Ingredient Recipe Reader.  I’ve done this a handful of times already and love that feature!  Last feature that I want to share.  You know when you find the most awesome recipe and you want to share it?  Well, you can connect your social media sites to your Key Ingredient and share away!

  11. I would love to win this for my Mom. I know everyone says that their Mom’s cooking is the best in the world. However, I sincerely believe my Mom’s Southern Cooking could be packaged and sold – and, if so, everyone who did, would ever be able to get enough of her cooking. You’ll always be going back for seconds (or thirds). Sadly, though, she has all of her recipes on cards that she is forever misplacing. This would be a great gift for her.

  12. I am always bookmarking recipes on the computer and printing them out. This would be nice to not have to print them out and having a mess on the printouts or running back to the other room to see what the next step is in my recipe. Love to be able to sync all my recipes one device that I can keep beside me in the kitchen.

  35. I hate having to go find a book when i want a recipe, then you have to find the page, then you get stuff all over it when you’re cooking. Terrible!!!!!!!! With this you could just put in the recipe and search it up whenever you want it.
