Since technology is everywhere, let’s invite it in to the kitchen as well!! I’ve recently been introduced to the Key Ingredient Recipe Reader, and I have to say, the days of clipping recipes out of magazine or printing them offline are gone. I don’t know about you, but the thought of organizing all the recipes I’ve done that with already is mind blowing.
The Key Ingredient Recipe Reader is simple. Once you go through the simple process of signing up (you can sign up for free or do a Prime account) for an account, you sign in and have all the control. 🙂 You can add recipes, take recipes off, organize recipes, search by recipe types, and on and on! And I have to mention, there is an app for those iPhone users too!
From there, you find THE recipe you want to make at your next family gathering. After all, that is what we are after, right? Finding the best recipes around and saving them for later use?
Not only can you search for recipes at Key Ingredient’s website, but you can find recipes elsewhere and save them on YOUR Key Ingredient Recipe Reader. I’ve done this a handful of times already and love that feature! Last feature that I want to share. You know when you find the most awesome recipe and you want to share it? However, I sincerely believe my Mom’s Southern Cooking could be packaged and sold – and, if so, everyone who did, would ever be able to get enough of her cooking. I want to win it for me because I love to cook, especially bake and have a million recipies which are in serious need of reorganizing. I have recipes I’ve clipped out of magazines, handwritten recipes, printed recipes, recipe books, etc….you name it. This would be awesome to get it all in order and consolidate all the loose papers. It would also be a awesome way to be able yo group all my favorite most used recipes together, as I hate searching through looking for a particular recipe.
