a nice looking mailbox from step2 (and an awesome nightlight) :: review

step2 test drive blogger buttonOur mailbox has been in need of some desperate help since we moved in to our new place in August.  Now that the weather has FINALLY broke, here in Michigan, I can share my amazing new mailbox with you all!  Say hello to this beauty…

MailMaster Hudson Mailbox is the one we received.  There is nothing that creates a buzz in the neighborhood like putting up a new mailbox!  Seriously.  We met neighbors we didn’t even knew we had when my husband started assembling our new MailMaster® Hudson Mailbox™.  Pretty funny actually.  I think we have entered the 21st century now by installing a heavy-duty poly construction mailbox like the rest of the neighborhood.  One of the things I love most about the Hudson is its size.  This thing is HUGE.  My husband was a big fan of the easy assembly.  Once the post was up, assembly only took him about 10-15 minutes total.  If you really think about it, there are not many ways that you can really increase the curb appeal of your home for less than $100 like you can with the MailMaster® Hudson Mailbox™.

Step2 introduced some new mailboxes to their line this year.  I was so excited for the one I received.  There is another one that caught my eye.  It has a plantar.  So…very cool for those that don’t kill their plants, like I do.

The other product I am going to share with you today is new from Step2…and I think it’s oh. so. cute.

It’s the Glo Buddy Turtle Night Light!!  Outside of it being uber cute, the way it works is so simple and the girls just love it.  They take turns each night turning it on.  Once this little guy is turned on, via a “button” on the bottom or via an outlet, it starts off as the color green then rotates through a color spectrum.  My girls are in awe just sitting there watching it change. Especially the one year old LOL!   I’ve been guilty for being caught in this trance before too!  I love how it can work via an outlet or batteries.  This feature makes it very flexible where you are going to put the little buddy for the night. I typically opt for near an outlet to conserve the batteries because the good Lord knows we already go through WAY too many of those in our home 🙂 Thankfully, if we do opt to have in run on batteries, it does turn off in 15 minutes.  GREAT feature in my opinion 🙂
