You all know that I love sharing fabulous finds with you. Typically it comes with cute pictures of my kids, or fun toys and fashion finds for us moms with a “real” life that still want to be fashionable and cute.
Today, I have prAna. While I had heard of the brand, I hadn’t really dug in to it. I saw some pieces at my local sporting goods store where I purchase all my running and work out gear, but never had the time to try it on because I was always carting at least two little ones with me. I was able to try on a few pieces from prAna that they sent me, and I must say I am blown away at not only the quality, but the fit and comfort level is top notch.
Ok, let’s get to it! The first thing I wanted to share with you all are the fabulous pair of Kara Jeans I received. What got me was the awesome color selection when I first noticed them in the Summer. Now they are on to Fall fashions on the site and as of this week, their Fall collection is live on the site. I don’t know about you, but I’m typically not a fan of fall/winter fashion colors because they are dark and not vibrant and fun. They are different. I picked some fun colors from prAna to liven up my Fall/Winter wardrobe! They are a stretchy material and very forgiving. I am loving what I’m going to be able to do with these. If you are wanting to get a pair of skinny/straight leg pants, these are it. To try something new in your personal fashion realm is always fun, and if you have been wanting to try something like these out, these are the best ones I own. Pick a color or pattern and then center your shirt around them. You will feel so cool! Roll them like I’m showing or unroll them and put them with some flats or boots. The possibilities are endless with the prAna Kara Jeans!
Next, I was sent a couple shirts to check out too. You guys…they are so soft and SO comfortable! I can see myself living in these for the cooler months. I take multiple trips a week to the gym, so I can see these shirts not only being great for running around town, but also for trips to the gym. Not only that…COLOR!! The fabric is so soft you will want to live in them. Seriously.
Last, a hat. A gal has to have a hat to have on hand. I am a big fan of hats because having as many kids as I have, I tend to run a bit behind. I have found that if I throw on a little make up and a classy hat, I look very put together. At least, I’m going with that 🙂 There are SO many options if you are looking for some hats (and other accessories) to either complete your outfit or simply add to your wardrobe. The jackie cadet hat is organic as well…another bonus among many with prAna.

August 7, 2014 at 11:41 pmOk so this is going to sound silly but 2 years ago I borrowed a sweater that someone had left at my sister’s house for a year. It was a band hoodie (with a swear word on it!), but it was just so comfy and I loved it. This past weekend I went to a get-together at my sister’s and who was there but the original owner of the sweater… and he stole it from me!!!! *gasp* Anyways, I’m really sad about it because it’s one of those items, to get a really great hoodie, you need to spend some bucks on it and this girl never spends more than $10 on an item for herself so a fancy hoodie is out of the question. So while I’m looking at a few things on the PrAna website, the one that sticks out for me is the Kasey hoodie.
