a delicious meal done in 30 minutes with johnsonville :: recipe {#MeatballMasters}

“I made a delicious and easy dinner using Johnsonville® Meatballs as part of a sponsored post for #MeatballMasters via Socialstars. All opinions are mine, and I have bought more packages outside of what I was given. Just sayin’ 🙂 ”

Since having our first experience with Johnsonville® meatballs a few weeks back, my girls have been asking for them again…like every other day! I guess that was a winner. I love it because the meal was SO easy to prepare. So, that got my creative juices flowing again for another easy dinner option that I could make. This time I wanted to do something a little more fun! I was going to do a dipping type dinner with the girls for our Friday Family Night! They had NO clue what I was talking about, and I couldn’t wait to show them!

I started prep early in the day, so the aroma from the cooking meatballs quickly filled the house and the kids came running! Basically, from start to finish, we had a meal prepped and on the table in 30 minutes. 30 MINUTES! I can do that!! an easy meal in under 30 minutes #meatballmastersYou guys, I have to re-iterate in case you missed my previous post. I have tried a lot, a LOT of meatballs. These are the best tasting {highest quality!!} that I’ve found!

Here’s what I did ::
I picked up a package of meatballs from the store, my local Meijer had them in the freezer section. We got the Homestyle Johnsonville® Meatballs this time! I put them in a pan with some Organic Coconut Oil and let them simmer. I did thaw them from frozen, so it did take a little less time.

They recommend cooking them with your favorite sauce, but since we were going to be dipping, I didn’t want to do that.

Once they were done, I put them in a bowl and picked out a few sauces I had on hand that I thought would be fun to dip with. I chose an Organic Ranch, an Organic Blue Cheese, a Barbeque and a Sweet Pineapple Barbeque. I was guessing really – but it all panned out!

In addition, I put together a side of mixed fruit (peaches, mandarin oranges and raspberries), as well as some noodles I had in the cupboard. I REALLY wanted some egg noodles but I didn’t’ have any and I didn’t have time to run out. With the noodles I just did them up plain and easy – butter and sea salt. My husband’s favorite lol! He’s our ‘plain jane’ over here!

That was basically it! My kids had a blast trying the new sauces, and as you can see, they enjoyed every last bit. The baby even ate up all her meatballs!!
#MeatballMasters Success#meatballMasters success round 2I have two more ideas I want to do with Johnsonville® Meatballs. Back to the egg noodles, on the cover of the package there are noodles with a white sauce and the meatballs. Totally doing that! AND…I want to make sliders too with these yummy meatballs. Need to go and grab some more now, because I’m OUT!!

What would you do with YOUR meatballs? Give this busy momma some more ideas!
