the bouqs :: a fabulous find for fresh flowers

After a friend of mine had her fourth baby, I wanted to send some flowers. I looked online at my options and by the time service and delivery charges were added up, I was going to spend around $50 for what amounted to a rose and a few cheap carnations. But now that I’ve found The Bouqs, I have a go-to service for fresh flowers.  Just in time for Mother’s Day (and all of the other upcoming spring and summer festivities).

The Bouqs offers 40 different bouquets starting at $40 (and that is for a dozen fabulous stems), There are no hidden charges and no additional delivery or service fees. This gorgeous bouquet of a dozen huge, long-stemmed roses and several purple phlox (named The Desperado) was only $40!  I did a little research on some of the big flower delivery services and a comparable bouquet is $60 without the mandatory service charge. Another huge Bouqs bonus: adding an additional 10 stems (doubling your bouquet) is only another $10! And tripling the bouquet is only an extra $20!  That’s 3 dozen roses (or lilies, sunflowers, and more) for $60!  I no longer have to waste any time or money shopping around for flowers.

After admiring my flowers for several days, I noticed they were opening up and looking even better than when they were first delivered. Usually flowers seems to start dropping petals pretty soon after I bring them home. I am still so impressed that they look great for so long! Because The Bouqs ships straight from the source—either an active South American volcano or the sunny shores of California, they are able to deliver 2-4 days after they are cut—unlike other florists who deliver 10-14 days after cutting. That explains the longevity of these roses! This picture to the left is one I took a week after delivery. They are still looking amazing!
