Did you guys see the article over on Buzzfeed the other day comparing “Parents At The Beginning Of The School Year vs. The End“? If you haven’t, you need to go scroll through. It will only take a minute. Go. Now. It’s totally worth it! I’ll wait….
Funny but completely dead-on, right? As much as I know I’m not ready for all three of my kids to be home during the Summer, I do know I’m just ready for the school year to be done. Bedtimes seem to be getting pushed later, breakfasts are more rushed to get out of the door on time, homework is being done in the car on the way to school, and the lunches? Well, let’s just say that #2 on that Buzzfeed list could pretty much be a picture from our kitchen!
I’ve found that I’m giving myself pep-talks in the morning, “come on, Stacey, just 13 more days of making school lunches!” Yes, I’m totally aware that I still need to feed my kids lunch even on Summer break, but it just feels different. So much more laissez-fiare.
Then the fun people at Dannon asked if we’d like to check out their new Danimals SuperStars Lowfat Greek Yogurt. It was like they had gotten a glimpse into my kids’ lunch boxes and said, “oh dear, we need to help this mom out and get her through the rest of the school year!”
My girls were pumped when they saw me put something new in their lunch boxes (and little brother was pretty excited to get his hands on some, too). And it was a super simple change-up to our normal lunch-box routine. Best of all, with 10g of protein per cup, I know they are getting some good nutrition to power them through these last few weeks of school!
The Danimals SuperStars Lowfat Greek Yogurt is currently available in five fun flavors — Cherry Rush, Mixed Berry Half-Pipe, Cotton Candy Thrill, Strawberry Banana Sprint, and Strawberry Slide. And kids will love sharing the fun facts found under the lids with their friends!
If you’ve found yourself in that school-lunch rut and need something quick and easy (but yummy and nutritious), be sure to grab some Danimals SuperStars Lowfat Greek Yogurt from your local grocery store. And don’t forget to give yourself a little pat on the back….we’re in the homestretch! We can do this!!

My son loves yogurt
I’ve heard of these but haven’t tried them. May get some for my little cousin’s.
Love these and my nephews think they are super tasty.
Yogurt is something I like eating and can feel good about it.
