Have you ever had one of these yummy healthy snack bars? I had not, until I got to review their nut and spices bars. They are KIND bars.
KIND Nuts & Spices is a line of delicious whole nut and spice bars that are naturally low in sugar, high in fiber and a good source of protein. Each bar contains between 5-7g of protein and fiber with only 5g of sugar or less and nothing artificial.
I got to try 2 different types of KIND bars.
Dark Chocolate Chili Almond is a sweet and spicy blend of mixed nuts drizzled in chocolate with a trio of cascabel, ancho and habanero chilies and provides 7g fiber, 6g protein with only 5g sugar. I really loved the taste of this bar. It has a great nut flavor and at the end it has a bit of a spicy spice – not hot but a little kick which was fun!
Maple Glazed Pecan & Sea Salt is a sweet and salty combination of pecans, almonds and peanuts covered in maple syrup with a touch of sea salt and provides 5g fiber, 6g protein with only 5g sugar. If you are looking for something sweet and salty for a snack this is it. Totally hits the spot. I just love the taste of sea salt and then the touch of sweet is perfect.
These were also a perfect snack for the kids. They get so hungry between lunch and dinner. This satisfied them perfectly till it was time for dinner. I also liked to take these for a snack at work for myself.
