5 instagram accounts to follow for delicious recipes

We are only a quarter of the way in to the year and I will freely admit that my inspiration for family dinners has completely tanked. In much need of some inspiration for meals I turned to my favorite sharers of good food on Instagram. In case you’re thinking “Instagram? Not Pinterest?” there is a reason, if I search Pinterest for recipe inspiration I fall into a deep dark hole of pinning and board making and the next thing you know my family is eating reheated pizza or cold cereal for the fourth time this week…

1) @pinchofyum :: Lindsay Ostrom from Pinch of Yum is not only a talented cook, she takes gorgeous photos of the recipes she creates and shares.

2) @halfbakedharvest :: Tieghan Gerard from Half Baked Harvest is consistently sharing new recipes that I think my kids and husband will actually eat (and that make me instantly hungry).

3) @foodfaithfit :: Taylor from Food Faith Fitness is my favorite place to find healthy options for my sweet tooth right beside healthy options for feeding my family.

4) @bealubas :: At first glance you may think that Bea Lubas only shares baked goods or pastry treats but digging in to her recipe archives is well worth the time and effort to find such treats as Homemade Pieorgis or Puff Pastry Twists with Basil and Cheese.

5) @testkitchen :: The folks at America’s Test Kitchen may be known to you from their television program or cookbooks, however, I find it VERY easy to use their Instagram account to quickly find the info for a recipe that catches my fancy. What’s not to love about a bunch of chefs making recipes fool-proof for non-chefs like me?
