Always on the look out for new companies to feature on SIMPLE, sometimes then come to us. Which is super fun. It always amazes me of how many companies are out there that I have never heard of. I am so excited today to share one of those companies with you that I have never heard of until they contacted us. Let me introduce you to La Millou.

While designing our products we are not limiting ourselves to common trends and patterns. Rather, we’ve set our imagination free to play with vibrant colors and a wide variety of designs to give you a product you and your baby will love. Using only the finest high-quality materials along with exceptional craftsmanship is what distinguishes La Millou from others.

The minute I looked at their website, there were several items I knew I had to have.  La Millou was very generous and sent me several items that I thought would be perfect for new baby and fun to share with you.  Let’s start with the blanket with filling.  Yes, you heard that right a blanket with filling.  Meet their double-sided blanket, one side is made of incredibly soft minky material (plush polyester) and the other side is high-quality cotton in a matching color. The inside has a light, hypoallergenic filling, which provides lightweight warmth.  It is thicker then a blanket so it can be used for daily naps and walks, or as a very soft mat on which your child can safely sit and play.  I’m hoping you can see the thickness in my photos.

This hen nursing pillow is pretty darn cute.  They have developed this unusual pillow primarily with their youngest customers and their moms in mind.  Thanks to this Hen pillow, nursing your loved one is easy and fun. Its optimal shape and right amount of filling provides comfort for baby and convenience for moms while breastfeeding.  I love that is small and I am able to take it with me if needed.  What is also fun is that it can also be used by parents: on the road, as a cushion for your notebook, to relax with a book or while watching TV.  Funny thing is, I am using right now for a cushion for my laptop.

The last two products are the changing mat and a bamboo swaddle blanket. This changing mat is good size and is in the shape of a circle.  It folds up nicely and has velcro to keep it together to tuck away. It is a 3 in 1 mat, you can change your baby, use it as a play mat or with it folded, it becomes a comfortable way of holding an infant carrier.

The blanket is a 100% rayon blanket made from bamboo fiber is very light and has a wide range of applications:

• Swaddler for children–a newborn baby swaddled in a “cocoon” feels safe, calm, and sleeps much better.
• During hot days it can be used in the stroller to provide shade from the sun.
• During cooler summer days it can serve as a light sheet.

This blanket is unbelievably soft.  I want to cuddle up with it myself. It is a chic fun pattern as well.  I can’t wait to swaddle baby up in it.  Not to mention, my other daughter finds it fun too. It is a good size and covers her well.

All their products are packed in a La Millou linen bag and decorated with a heart tag, it is a stylish gift for a baby shower, birthday, or any other celebratory occasion, such as Christmas.  I love these small details that add such a personal touch from the company.
