I wanted to share with you three easy ways to help combat and keep those germs away from that little newborn or baby you are trying to keep healthy. I know some may be just common sense but reminders are always helpful. We are busy moms and I always forget little easy steps such as these.
We all know full well when you are on your second and third child that the older kids bring home all kinds of stuff from school.
Three easy ways to help keep germs away ::
- Wash those hands – Handwashing is a win for everyone, except the germs. Washing your hands properly is one of the most important things you can do to help prevent and control the spread of many illnesses. If you don’t have water and soap, use some hand sanitizer.
- Cover your mouth and nose. Stay home when you are sick. Avoid close contact with anyone that is sick. Clean and disinfect surfaces or objects.
- Cover your baby when out in public! You can use this wonderful product from Kids ‘n Such. It is a stretchy multi-use car seat canopy that will help keep the germs away.
Not only will this canopy cover your car seat, it will cover a high chair and a shopping cart. Multi use products are my favorite. I keep this baby in my diaper bag or on my car seat at all times now. You can also use it as a nursing cover. It is a great stretchy material that is thin enough but yet thick enough for summer and winter time.
I have been using this for a couple weeks and it seriously is the easier thing to use. I love the flexible material and how it stretches over whatever I need. It’s perfect when we go to the park it keeps the sun out of her face. Keeps those pesky cart and high chair germs away from my baby because all I have to do is quickly wash it after each use. Every new mom needs one of these in their diaper bag.
