Top on their list of what to love about this play tent is the impressive size. Measuring in at 50″ x 40″ x 50″ high the “My Pirate Ship” House Tent takes up approximately half the open space in our living room. My girls have found that they can easily move the tent to any open floor space in that one room and they have made some fairly intricate forts, houses, animal hospitals, and pirate hideaways all centered around this new favorite play space.
As a mom and experienced tent builder I cannot stress how much I appreciated the EASY assembly of this Pacific Play Tents product. The instructions were easy to follow and the tent poles are color coded so you cannot screw up! 4 different colored poles made it so I didn’t have to play the guessing game of “Is this the right length/size/shape?” You can watch the short video below to see just how easy the assembly process is for their house tents ::
I also have to point out how convenient it was that the door and tunnel openings for the tent had easy to use roll up flaps that even kids can operate on their own. As a parent I especially appreciated the mesh openings at the ends of the tent that gave me an easy way to check on the kids when things got too quiet. Of course, my little pirates used those same spaces as their pirate lookouts.
