tcvsMy son loves orange. Bright orange. So when I recently told him that his room could really use a fresh coat of paint, he knew right away he wanted orange. But I just couldn’t do it. Four walls of bright orange seemed not only like a nightmare of a job, but also just too much for my eyes to take. So I decided to stick with my original idea of gray walls and just use orange as a fun accent color—pillows, magnet boards, a funky lamp and {my favorite} a personalized wall decal from The Custom Vinyl Shop.

008I couldn’t wait to use a fun decal to add a personalized pop of color to his previously bare wall above his desk. I was so impressed with the quality and affordability of the decal from The Custom Vinyl Shop. We went with the Personalized Varsity Letter Initial and Name Wall Decal. It was somehow both classic and sporty which is perfect for my little guy. There are so many color options at The Custom Vinyl Shop and I was so happy with the bright orange option.

damask_elements_largeThe decal was sent with a small tool to help aid in the application. After a few measurements, I followed the {easier than I expected} instructions to apply the decal.  Measure, apply, peel, use the tool to press out a few bubbles if needed.  I love how it turned out and, more importantly, so does my son!

The Custom Vinyl Shop has so much more than just decals for kids.  Check out their new website to see some of the amazing options for any room in your house–from funky designs to favorite quotes, there is something for every style.

Also worth noting: I asked The Custom Vinyl Shop to price out a custom order for me of a {very} large square orange decal. They got right back to me with a price and then noted that it would be more cost-effective for me to just paint the square on the wall. I was super impressed with their integrity! Not too many companies are willing to sacrifice an order to save a customer money! An honest company with a superior product at a great price. What’s not to love?
