I’ve never been much for setting New Year’s Resolutions, for various reasons. I might set a few goals for the new year {for some reason “goals” sound better than “resolutions”} but one thing I’ve made a practice doing since my kids were toddlers was making a list of adventures we wanted to go on in the New Year.

Each of us sets one or two our own adventures (one year my adventure was learning to tap dance) and then we set some family adventures. One of my favorite family adventures for 2015 is to grow our own fruits and vegetables this Spring, Summer, and Fall!

  36. So far, we have a trip to Grand Marais Minnesota on Lake Superior planned in March!! Snowboarding and ice fishing… we can’t wait 🙂 The kids are excited to visit the aquarium in Chicago this summer too 🙂

  40. Besides preparing for a 3rd “Surprise” Baby, we’d like to take a much needed vacation, maybe to Disney World or just a nice camp ground with cabins.

  41. My husband is FINALLY going to graduate from college and we are going to move into our first house so that’s our big 2015 family adventure… lol

  57. I swear I am taking that camping trip to eastern Washington! I want to see the mini grand canyon, and I want to see the Stonehenge replica! Plus the pictures remind me of my home in the desert, and I want to be in a wide open space for a bit. All these trees make me feel claustrophobic at times!

  58. My daughter started preschool this year and uses a backpack every day. I think she’d love the Rover in Red Bow toddler backpack!

  59. In 2015 we hope to visit family in another state! Aside from that, we have a lot of hiking and skiing planned for this winter and summer. 🙂

  62. We definitely have plans to go camping a few times this summer/fall. I’m also hoping that we make it to the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. I would love to take my daughter to the gorgeous Tahquamenon Falls!

  70. Adventures in 2015? Our first trip to Disney World, our first year as foster parents, and our first baby goes to SCHOOL (waahhh)!

  91. Hubby and I are getting away to Vancouver and Victoria for our 10th anniversary this summer! Many more adventures to come with the kids too I’m sure! Camping with friends and family and maybe a cruise next year!

  102. We are hoping to make it to the Dallas area to visit my sister and nieces so that will be an adventure for sure – she has 3 yo twins and an 18 month old! The baby will be 2 by then!

  105. I don’t have any children in the home anymore so adventures are limited to my husband and I for the most part. I have Lupus and am having a rough time so I we don’t have any adventures planned yet, but if I go into remission you can bet that we will do something to celebrate.

  112. We’re expecting our second baby in February, so not much planned for the first part of the year but we are hoping to spend Christmas in California with my in-laws!
