Choomee2Everyone is in love the the “food pouch.” Even big kids are starting to get in on the craze and preferring their applesauce in one of these nifty little pouches. I know every time my parents see me feed my son with one of these they exclaim, “They certainly didn’t have anything like this when YOU were a baby!” And they are right! These handy little food pouches sure are great for on-the-go families, BUT… there are definitely a couple downsides as well!

For starters, have you ever tried biting down on the spout? OUCH! I can’t imagine biting down on one of those things without any teefers, and unless you get the spout in your little ones mouth BEFORE they try to squeeze it, you are going to end up with a huge mess! I know my little man likes to eat and gets a little over excited when he sees food coming his way which makes for a messy experience some times! haha…

  16. I have a 11 month old baby who is extremely tough to feed, so the idea of him self feeding and actually enjoy meal time would be nice. I would love to try the them.

  17. I like how it is easy for the baby to use and keeps the mess in the kitchen down a bit.

  19. My favorite thing is that they are spill proof as they are prone to spilling their drinks.
