pump it up :: pop-in playtime :: imagination declaration :: review and giveaway

disclaimer giveaway
Pump it Up has a great vision called, Save Childhood, Support Imagination. Kids need exercise to accompany their imaginations. Check to see if there is a location near you.

We had a great time at our local Pump it Up. We visited one other time for a friend’s birthday party. I was excited to learn about their pop-in playtime hours. Why? Well, it’s been 3 years since we were there at that birthday party, and it’s totally a fun place for kids to play and get exercise. It’s a great idea for something to do on a rainy day. It’s a fantastic way to keep your kids active. Step away from the TV! It’s also a good place if you have kids whose ages range a bit. I saw tweens down to toddlers enjoying the soft, inflatable play structures.

Pump it Up

My kids had a blast at our morning of pop-in playtime with their two best buds. It was easy for me to bring along baby Charlie too. I could watch the kids,  push Charlie around, and chat with my friend while we watched our kids play their hearts out.

You and your child are invited to come and play on our giant, soft, fun-filled interactive inflatables during Pump It Up Pop-In Playtime.

Promote social development and physical fitness while bouncing, sliding, climbing and jumping at Pump It Up!

Enjoy meeting other parents and making new friends in a safe, clean, climate controlled environment!

Here is a video of short clips from our day of fun. The dramatic groan at the end is Jack expressing his disgust that the pop-in time was over. It’s a compliment to Pump It Up that he didn’t want to leave. It’s a reaction I’ll keep working on as a parent. 🙂

I like that they are encouraging parents to let children play and use their imaginations, verses always playing with electronics or watching TV.

I agree that kids need that time that isn’t so scheduled. Time to let their minds wander and pretend.

Love that it encourages parents to be a part of the play – and that it gives a goal to reach for. 1 hr is doable, but definitely takes being intentional.
