We live far away from much of our family, and I want our little one to remember his grandparents, aunts, uncles, etc. in between visits! I am so thankful for Skype, FaceTime, and other great chances to connect and catch up even though we can’t all be together as much as we’d like. I was putting together some pictures of family so that we could show them to him and talk to him about them. I realized though that I didn’t want him to rip pictures up or break a frame since he is so little. I found the perfect solution to this with Pintsize Productions.
You can make your own personalized board books though their site. I have a ton of ideas for future books to make for him, like an alphabet book featuring his own pictures with some of his favorite things, his name in a popular kids book (featured on their site), and a baby book with big milestones for him to be able to look through when he’s a little older. The book I already created though is called “My Family Loves Me.” It has pictures of all of his cousins, aunts, uncles, grandparents, mommy, and daddy. He already loves it! He recognizes the faces and of course loves to chew on it! And thankfully, this photo book is baby friendly so he can do just that.
This is a great idea for your own kids or grandkids, as well as a great idea for a personalized gift for someone else! You can use an already created template, or if you are more tech savvy, you can start from scratch and import your own pages! There are options for 16 page books or 24 page books.
