If you follow our blog, I posted a few weeks ago about the upcoming Monster Jam event. Last night was the event and it was awesome! If you ever have a chance to attend in your area, we give it our highest recommendation. It is VERY loud, but lots of kids were in attendance with ear protection. The trucks are incredible and the skills the drivers show blow my mind. They can make a 10,000+ pound vehicle flip in the air, drive on two wheels, and of course soar over jumps! WOW!!!

This was our third time attending Monster Jam and the wonder of it didn’t fade one bit. Each show has it’s own pizazz and the drivers really get the crowd excited.  You never know what it going to happen. Sometimes there’s broken axles, blown hoses, fires, and we’ve even seen a truck tumble out of the arena area. Thankfully not a danger to anyone. The crowd goes wild when they see a truck set up near the ramp to do a flip.

The kids took turns scoring the drivers. Everyone in the stadium got to rate each freestyle run and two wheel challenge. The kids took turns and enjoyed that aspect of the event too.

At one point in the event I looked over and Charlie was pretending to drive the trucks. I love to see the kids get lost in their own imagination.

We had a wonderful time as a family. We are very grateful to FELD ENTERTAINMENT for hosting such a fantastic event in the Bay Area.
