Today on the radio I listened as our local commentators discussed the next few days of HOT weather we are expecting. It is supposed to be so HOT that they are calling for people to lookout for their neighbors (especially the elderly or infirm) and to make sure that you and your family stay well-hydrated. Thankfully, I am always on top of keeping my kids and I within easy reach of water and every time we leave the house we each have our own water bottle in hand to stay hydrated.
With these hot days I do keep in mind that I don’t want to be leaving any plastic water bottles sitting in the car while we are in and out while running errands. Even if it is BPA-free there is just something about having plastic sit in the inferno that is the inside of a car that creeps me out. Tell me I’m not alone here? Anyway, my current favorite “It can sit in the car and fry” water bottle is from MIU COLOR.
MIU COLOR has a lot of fun products, but I am totally digging on their borosilicate glass water bottle. It came with a Nylon cover that has a zipper on the side to make the cover fit like a glove (no worrying about the bottle slipping out!) and while it offers minimal insulation when you want to keep something hot or cold it does make grabbing the water bottle possible whether the liquid inside is too hot for your bare hands or cold enough to make the bottle sweat (and slippery!).
The bottle also comes with a soft scrub bottle cleaner brush that is perfect for cleaning so you don’t have to worry about scratching. I really appreciate that the stainless steel lid is leakproof thanks to a sealing ring that can be removed for cleaning. Because it is glass you don’t have to worry about staining or residual odors and the one MIU COLOR water bottle is perfect for hot coffee, iced coffee, tea, water, and infused waters!
