make your {little} dude dapper with dapsters :: review + giveaway

disclaimer giveaway
dapstersI have two boys and two girls. My girls love to wear matching outfits. My boys actually like to match too. (I doubt that will last much longer, but it’s adorable and I’m not going to stop them). Let me tell you: finding matching girls outfits is a lot easier than finding matching boy outfits! This past Christmas I made dresses for the girls and the boys asked if they could get bow ties. “Really smart guys wear bow ties,” my oldest told me. It’s funny the things that pop into their heads sometimes. Since I had a friend who was starting a new business selling bow ties, I asked her if I could send her some fabric scraps from the girls’ dresses and have her make them from that. The boys were thrilled when they each got a red one and a green one to match the red and green dresses the girls had. And I absolutely cannot believe I don’t have a picture of all four of them wearing those outfits. It was precious!

dapstersAnyway, since then I have loved watching my friend’s business evolve and grow. She’s now busy making new bow ties everyday and you can see the wide variety of options on the Dapsters facebook page. Each bow tie is only $10. Have you priced ties recently? That’s a great deal! But what if you can’t find exactly what you’re looking for? Send Dapsters a message on Facebook and she’ll be happy to work with you to custom-make something to fit your needs. Want your school colors? Just let her know what they are! Need a special print for Halloween or Christmas? She can do that, too! Look at this adorable Fantastic Mr. Fox costume.

dapstersAnd don’t think that these are just for the littlest men in your house! There are options for teenagers and adults as well. And might I add that I think my little guy was on to something. Bow ties do make men look smarter. I’m not sure how that happens, but it does. And just look at how handsome this young fella looks! He does indeed look dapper.
