We are always on the look out for new and exciting toys we can add to our home that encourages playing outside and using their creativity. That being said, I was recently introduced to a phenomenal “toy” from Dareway Revolution, it’s a 12 Volt Powered Ride- On.

You may be thinking to yourself, that looks a lot like a Segway? Well, that’s exactly what I thought. When it arrived and we put it together, I noticed quite a striking resemblance. It’s similar to a Segway, but has built in safety features to make it kid safe. On the box it says it is for ages 6+, and they recommend the max weight being 88 lbs. However, you will see other views, such as 4-10 years old on the Toys R Us site. Either way, we were in luck because two of my girls are in this range! I would suggest it being best for the older age bracket though, in my honest opinion. 🙂

So, out we went to check this fun toy out! I wanted to share a few of the key features this fun new toy on the block has!IMG_0457

Capabilities to do a 360 degree turn. And a fast turn at that! It took my 9 year old a bit to get the hang of this one. For my 6 year old, we basically stood next to her as she attempted to do it. She doesn’t have the hang of it, but sure does enjoy going straight!

This is fast too I tell ya! So. Much. Fun. This particular version has more moves and is 40% faster than it’s predecessor. It even has the ability to play music. There is an audio jack and speakers.

The way to use this is simple. Not many buttons as you will see below. There is a foot accelerator that moves the child, and once the foot is removed, the child slows. The “buttons” on the handlebars are for maneuvering around and starting the 360 degree spin.

It’s easy to see when the battery is running out. There is a light that turns red, yellow or green. Go ahead and use your imagination with what these mean 🙂

The last thing I want to point out, it is adjustable when it comes to different heights of children. Or, if you are worried about your child quickly outgrowing this $249 toy, no need to worry! There are three different handlebar heights!

Dareway Revolution DetailsThere is a bit of a learning curve, but my kids love it. They love a challenge, and this is a challenge with a FUN reward at the end. IMG_0451

I’ll leave you with the video below so you can see all that is offered in this great toy. And while you are at it, be sure to check out the Facebook page and read more on this direct at the Toys R Us site! There are customer reviews there too, so don’t just take my word for it!
