OriginalSproutLogoWinter is my nemesis. Besides for the cold (I’m so over the cold) the dry air does a number on my daughter’s sensitive skin. Thankfully she isn’t as sensitive as she once was but I struggle to find products that don’t cause her to have a reaction yet still deliver a good amount of hydration without resorting to unpronounceable ingredient lists.

Okay, now for my take on the Original Sprout products we’ve been trying out here with my two girls and myself. First up all the products from Original Sprout are ::

Original Sprout Scrumptious Baby CreamWe tried the Island Bliss Shampoo, Luscious Island Conditioner, Tahitian Hair Oil, and Scrumptious Baby Creme, which were also all soy, gluten, peanut, and dairy free!

Miss M’s hair is notoriously difficult to deal with. Beautiful in all it’s voluminous glory, but hard to keep moisturized, expecially thorugh the winter! Can I tell you how much I LOVE the Tahitian Hair Oil? Her hair is so much more manageable since I’ve started using the Island Bliss Shampoo and Luscious Island Conditioner on her as well, but the Tahitian Hair Oil makes a night and day difference. We are never running out. Ever.

Another family favorite has been the Scrumptious Baby Creme. Even though my babies technically babies any more (they’re 4 & 6) this lotion makes their skin feel baby soft all over again. *sigh* Not at all greasy, the Scrumptious Baby Creme leaves their skin feeling velvety smooth and unlike other lotions we had tried this winter the Scrumptious Baby Creme keeps their skin hydrated so we don’t need to reapply multiple times per day.
