I’ve reviewed products from OXYLED before! The lighting solutions I have received from them have been a big help in our new-to-us, yet old farmhouse. A major project that needs be done in our home is the electrical, but right now it’s not the top priority for time or money. There are many places in our house where I wish there was a switch in a different spot, or a light in a different place, or really just a light somewhere to be found! I’ve used lights from OXYLED to help with closet lighting as well as motion sensor lights for when we first come in the house. Outdoor lighting can also be a great place to have innovative lighting solutions. I received an outdoor/indoor light from OXYLED a while back, but with the cold and snow was just not motivated to get it put it up and see how it would work outside. I waited until we were actually starting to spend a little more time outside to find the right place for it.
Some of the suggestions from OXYLED for this indoor/outdoor light are walls, garden, driveway, or yard. I ended up putting the light out on our porch. There is a light already there, but I liked the idea of the motion sensor light, as well as it lighting up an area that didn’t receive as much light. Again, it’s been a great solution to have a light turn on when you get within 3 meters of it, as well as automatically go off after 15 seconds of being outside of range.
This LED light from OXYLED takes 4 double A batteries and is very easy to install. It comes with sticky pads or 2 small screws making it easy to install. Take a look at this light and some of the other lighting ideas here.
