There is so much to love about having kids with a wider than average age gap, but part of the downside is that it is a struggle to find games they (or we) can all play together. Thankfully, our friends at eeBoo have shared some pretty basic games with us that are actually fun for the whole family, don’t take a long time to play, and as a bonus they take up very little cupboard space!
So, in no particular order here are 4 eeBoo games and activities that are great for kids of all ages.
1) Dominoes :: for ages 3+ these sturdy cardboard dominoes are a fun game for everyone. Our littlest one loves it because he only has to understand matching and my big kids enjoy the fun pictures on each of the tiles. We tried out the Things I Know Dominoes and I really love that they have domino playing instructions printed right on the inside of the lid so the kids can’t lose the directions.
2) Mini Playing Cards :: we have long been fans of eeBoo’s playing cards but did you know they also make mini versions for some of their games? Woodland Rummy Mini Playing Cards and Go Fish! Mini Playing Cards can keep all three of my kids entertained for a solid chunk of time. A perfect stocking stuffer!
3) Miniature Puzzles :: with only 36 pieces each these puzzles don’t take an entire afternoon to assemble. The silly animals featured in the Miniature Finding Treasure Puzzle and Miniature On the Moon Puzzle make all of our family giggle but the quality of these tiny puzzles is no joke. 4) Matching Games :: my kids have long loved memory matching games and eeBoo has so many great choices of games to pick from. My family’s new favorite is their Dinosaurs Little Matching Game. The dinosaur illustrations on these 18 sturdy pairs of cards are a fun way for dinosaur lovers old and young to have fun together.
My family truly is enjoying all of these games and as a bonus each of the items I mentioned above are perfectly sized to tuck in a stocking!
