Super Duper Publications logoAs a homeschooling mom I appreciate any help I can get to make learning fun.  Games that are educational and entertaining are always on the top of my list to find and try, especially when I can tie these fun resources in with whatever subjects we are currently covering in our lessons.

Ask & Answer Wh Bingo contentsBe still my beating heart when I discovered the website for Super Duper Publications.  Right now my first grader’s least favorite subject is reading.  It takes longer and just doesn’t come as easily to her as math.  To help make some of her reading lesson time more fun today we played a game of Ask & Answer “Wh” Bingo.

Since this game is meant for 2-6 players, it worked out well for us that it is also for ages 3 & Up.  After explaining a free space to the girls and covering the SUPER simple instructions we played a quick game.  Here is where I pause to point out that the instructions were printed on the inside of the gamebox cover – how brilliant is that?!?  The first game for which I will never have to worry about losing the instructions!

Ask & Answer Wh BingoOkay, back to our regularly scheduled program.  The Ask & Answer “Wh” Bingo took less than a minute to set up and we were on our way.  There are 6 sets of bingo cards with corresponding color coded question cards :: Who? (red), What? (blue), Where? (purple), When? (green), Why? (magenta), and Combo! (yellow).

Someone reads the question card from the correct deck for the players, who then find the corresponding answer spot on their bingo card and put a bingo chip on it.  For example “What do you wear to bed?” Answer: Pajamas!

Bingo Game Faces
It never failed that almost 6-year-old Michaela would be the first to answer a question but sometimes they couldn’t figure out what space on their bingo cards was the correct answer so I would also share the picture answer on the question card.  This made the game much easier for 3-year-old Dani who was excited to be able to play right along with her big sister.

Here’s a “how to play” video from Super Duper Publications if you’re a visual/audio learner ::

With products for all ages from Infants and Toddlers to Adults, you’re sure to find something age appropriate on the Super Duper Publications website to help your child make learning fun!
