4set_Sneaker_Mocc_Ons_logoMy daughter hates socks. She LOVES shoes. She especially loves them if they are not hers. She loves her daddy’s leather work shoes, her brother’s snow boots, and her big sister’s sneakers. But try to sneak a pair of socks on that girl and she will have them off in 5 seconds flat. It’s quite a talent, actually. Now in the summer months we are a barefoot, flip-flopping family. But we live in Michigan and baby, it’s cold outside. REALLY cold. So my sweet Maddie and I have a little routine. It goes like this. I put her socks on. She takes them off. I put them back on. She takes them off and throws them at me. She finds it hilarious. Me, not so much. But I am the mom and I am smarter than she (for a few more years, anyway). Because I was lucky enough to discover a company called Sock Ons, who makes clever little products that just make life easier. Mocc Ons are socks AND shoes all in one! So when I slip her ballerina-style Mocc Ons onto her teeny little feet, she thinks they are shoes. Score one for mom. Well played, Sock Ons, well played.

imageOh and did I mention that they are adorable and come in a variety of styles and sizes? There are Cowboy (or girl) Mocc Ons, Sneaker Mocc Ons, and (my fave) pink spotted Mocc Ons. They are super soft, comfy and they are available for kids up to 3 years old. And because they are machine washable, my little Maddie can let her inner dancer shine as she struts around the house with her beautiful ballerina “shoes” on and afterwards, I can throw them right in the washing machine for her next performance. Plus since they are close to knee length and have a leather sole that is stitched right into the sock, she cannot pull them off like she does with her other socks. Hooray for Mocc Ons!

Sock Ons also have a variety of other cool products for you to check out! Dribble Ons (perfect for your little drooler) look like bandanas and catch anything that drips down without getting baby wet. Plod Ons go on baby’s knees to keep them from getting rug burn or sidewalk burn in the summer heat (I totally wish I had had these this summer before my baby girl could walk. I was constantly worried that she was going to scuff up her knees on our driveway!) And Sock On’s original product (appropriately named Sock Ons) slide on top of baby’s socks so that he or she can’t pull them off (sound familiar??). So smart! Make sure you check out all of their amazing products today!
