All you cloth diapering mammas out there will understand me when I say that there are just certain diapers in your stash that are your favorites. They are the ones that fit the best, absorb the best, and look the cutest on those little tushies! That is how I feel about my FUNKY FLUFF diapers!

IMG_4910logoI was ecstatic the first time I put these on my little man. Not only were they super adorable, but the fit!!! Oh… my… word… the fit! My son has issue with “sag” in the front of most one-size diapers, but these diapers lay smoothly across his tummy. Making this mamma happy!

This is a 3-in-1 diaper, which means whether you are a fan of AIO, AI2, or pocket diapers, this diaper will work for you! The liner can be snapped in place inside the pocket to be used as an AIO, OR it can be snapped on top of the pocket to be used as an AI2. If you are like me and like using a pocket diaper… you can do that too! (If you are confused by the acronyms, check out my What’s All This Fluff Talk post HERE)

Everything about the diaper makes sense to me! They have double gussets for extra protection against leaks. There are hip snaps to help prevent wing droop. There are pocket openings in the front AND back to be able to get the insert in and out easier, and to top it all off, the PUL (waterproof) material is super soft!

I was given the opportunity to review both the Bamboo and Stay Dry 3-in-1 diapers, so here’s my breakdown of what I love about each.

FUNKY FLUFF Fusion Bamboo 3-in-1

funky fluff 3logoFirst of all, I love how trim the bamboo diaper is! This diaper comes with 2 different soaker pads, which contribute to the overall “trimness” of this diaper. The heavy duty soaker consists of 4 layers of bamboo blend terry, and the light soaker consists of 3 layers of bamboo blend terry. These soaker pads can be used together for added absorbency, or separate (based on size and needs of child). The diaper lining is made up of a soft bamboo/polyester material. You can tell from this description that natural fibers were used when designing this diaper… a definite plus!

FUNKY FLUFF Fusion Stay Dry 3-in-1 

If moisture is left on my son’s skin for any length of time, he gets a diaper rash. Because the lining of this diaper is made from a suedecloth material, it wicks moisture away from baby’s skin. Suedecloth is thinner than microfleece and resists pilling, leaving your diaper newer looking longer as well! What I love most about the stay dry insert is the extra layer of dryness protection. I have never seen an insert with a layer of stay dry fabric, so not only does the diaper help keep baby dry, but the soaker pad does too!

  104. I’d choose bamboo since my son is sensitive to synthetics (plus its easier for me to handwash, microfiber takes so much longer!) And I love the teal with lime snaps!
