Case Logic logoIt was just a couple weeks ago when I shared the Case Logic SnapView 2.0 Case of iPad Air with you (review HERE). About 1-2 days after that post went up I received the Rotating Folio for iPad Air case from Case Logic to try out as well. Once again, Case Logic has proved that they know what they’re doing when it comes to protecting your electronics. I love this case and it’s hard for me to decide on a favorite!

Okay, first let us discuss the features of the new Rotating Folio for iPad Air. It comes in two very classy colors: Morel (which I have) and Black. Like the SnapView 2.0 the Rotating Folio has a molded polycarbonate shell that is a perfect fit for your iPad Air. It also has a soft suede-like interior to protect your device’s screen and a secure snap closure. You will also find that the Rotating Folio has a magnetic sleep and wake functionality just like the SnapView 2.0. You will also notice that, as with the SnapView 2.0, the Rotating Folio allows for unobstructed accessibility to all your ports, controls, and camera.

The major difference between these two cases comes from the Rotating Folio’s ability to rotate your device 360-degrees. This allows for both viewing in landscape and portrait viewing modes. Even more importantly, it EASILY allows for you to switch between these two viewing modes. The first time I used the case I was instantly amazed at how smoothly the case rotated. It is also important to note that the built-in stand works to prop up your iPad air in either viewing mode and that two small grippy spots on 3 of the 4 sides of the polycarbonate case will help hold your iPad Air in place for multiple viewing angles (which lets you pick the most comfortable angle for you).

The Rotating Folio for iPad Air is a little bit more substantial of a case which makes it my new go-to case for travel and work with my iPad, however, that bit less of bulk does make the SnapView 2.0 Case for iPad Air my new favored case for times when I want (or need) to hold my iPad in my hands for an extended period of time (such as when reading an ebook).

Which case do you think would work best for you or what feature makes one a favorite over the other?
