Do you have everything all set for summer? I know I like to keep a bag packed for whenever we need, for the beach or going to a friend’s pool. This year, it seems, I have seen all over the news about sunscreen and how it isn’t as effective as the companies are saying they are. As a mom, we need to be able to trust these companies and what they are saying. After all, this is a product we are putting on our kids and even ourselves. We want them to work.
I’d like to share with you a company new to me but glad to have found. It is Blue Lizard Australian Sunscreen and I will be adding this to every bag I have to be sure my kids are safe while out in the sun.
Blue Lizard was originally created in Australia, where sunscreen standards are the strictest in the world. Blue Lizard is now made in the U.S., in Johnson City, Tennessee. Blue Lizard is a pharmaceutical-grade sunscreen made by Crown Laboratories with the highest quality ingredients and ranked as one of the top sunscreens by the Environmental Working Group (EWG).
Do you or your kids have sensitive skin? They offer full spectrum sunscreens with broad UV coverage. It is recommended by doctors, dermatologists and pharmacists. You can buy it by the gallons. They baby, sport, sensitive and regular sunscreen. We were lucky enough to get a boat load of sunscreen for all our summer adventures. We have currently tried the sunscreen one time and it was fantastic. It was not oily and went on smoothly. It was very easy to rub in. What’s also great is that there are NO BPA, Phthalates, PABA, Gluten OR nut oils in Blue Lizard sunscreen.
My kids noticed right away that our Blue Lizard bottle of sunscreen turned from WHITE to BLUE sitting in the sun! AND the caps on our Face and Sport sunscreen turned blue as well.
