evenflo :: zoo friends triple-flo cup :: review + giveaway

disclaimer giveaway
We have nearly completed our transition to sippy cups. My goal is always by their 1st birthday. However, I’m not opposed to keeping out a bottle or two when they cut molars and just want to snuggle in the middle of the night. The bottle at the end of THIS post has been around from the beginning and is one of the last bottles standing on the shelf. Let’s talk about the Evenflo Zoo Friends Triple-FloTM Cups.
tumbler collage
They have a very clever design that I have not seen before. There is a flow position valve inside the cup. There are 3 adjustable flow rates plus a spill proof/off position. I have zero tolerance for leaking cups. They get one strike and they are out if they spill in my diaper bag. I’m also not a big fan of cups with lots of parts when it comes to cleaning them. I can barely keep up on my dishes, I don’t need to feel like an assembly worker. I’ve seen enough factory hours, I’m good for now. This cup is the perfect combination of function and style for my liking.zoo cup giveaway

I should note, this cup is best used when supervised. If it’s not in the spill-proof/off position, liquids can escape from this cup. It’s great for Charlie when he’s in his highchair or sitting on my lap. It’s not my go-to cup for the car in case he chucks it out of my reach when we are driving. It will most certainly be a tumbler we can use for years to come. I love the zoo friends designs (cute boy and girl jungle scenes available) and the ergonomic spout is perfect for little mouths. The 10 oz. size is just right for toddler hands and the concave lid is designed to fit just right under little noses. Here’s my favorite part, they are only $2.99 each. I’ve spent much more on cups that I didn’t love. You can find the zoo designs at Winco, Meijer, and HEB in blue, pink, and green. Walmart has plain tumblers in pink, lavender, orange, and blue.

This is for my six month old. He doesn’t really drink yet, as he tries to nurse from the sippy and then gets bored. Offering the cup with consistency is the main thing.

This would be for my little girl, she already drinks out of a straw sippy, which for her was the easiest to transition to around 9 months old, she actually still doesn’t quite care for regular sippy cups lol. I did find that the cheaper straw sippys did not do the trick…..always leaking and whatnot, we use the avent straw sippy, and knowing that’s what got her to give up the bottle since she’s been 9 months old, makes me pretty happy lol.

My toddler loves his sippy cups. When it is time to throw an old one away, he is very unhappy. The transition to sippy cups for him was very easy. To be honest, he took right to it as easily as it was to get him from the breast to a bottle (complications required very early weaning).

My baby will be 1 this month and he uses his bottle for when he first wakes up in morning and when it is bed time at night. He uses a sippy cup the rest of the day but never takes it with him. I will set his sippy cup on his walker and he crawls and plays and if he gets thirsty he will get a quick drink from the sippy cup.
    Thanks for the chance!

my little girl is 10 months old going on 2, she wants to be just like her big brothers, we started her on a soft spouted sippy cup with water around 6 months, she took to it like a champ, I think she is getting ready to use a hard spouted sippy cup so these would be great

This cup would be for our current youngest who is almost two. While he can drink from regular cups, he enjoys dumping the entire contents out still so we don’t allow it too often!

TIP: Remove spill proof piece when teaching little one to drink from sippy. Once they learn to “suck” on the cup, then you can put the piece back in.

What cute sippy cups, this would be really nice to have for my grandson. Yesterday when I called and talked to his Dad for a bit, his Dad said my grandson was trying to drink the swimming pool water in his wading pool. I told him to get him one of his sippy cups so he could drink that. I think he was thirsty. 🙂
