Over the holidays we enjoyed an evening of family fun at Enchant in San Jose, California. I grew up in the Midwest and I miss the snow and magical winter feelings that are a part of my Christmas memories. Enchant did a fantastic job bringing winter sparkle to our evening. They even had snow machines!
The venue is at Paypal Park so it is entirely set up inside the arena. It is very clever how they organized it and oh so beautiful.
Our kids enjoyed the ice skating the most. The rental skates were very comfortable, and the line moved quickly to get our skates. The rink was very well maintained and much more fun than a traditional hockey rink. It was more like a path that circled around through twinkling trees and winter decorations. It was beautiful and our kids could have spent the whole evening skating.
We did work our way to the maze with millions of lights. We had a mission to find all the reindeer and get a stamp on our passports. It was a fun challenge and we saw the entire display while on our hunt for reindeer. We even found the dance floor with a live DJ.
The rest of the venue was set up with cozy corners to relax and hang out. We walked the perimeter of the arena which had venders with many unique items for sale. We found life size chess and Jenga, couches for relaxing, and the highlight for the littles was meeting Santa.
We went on a Friday night. There were so many love struck couples on dates. It was heartwarming and I share that because not only was it a very family friendly venue, but it was a cute date spot too. That only makes sense with it being sponsored by Hallmark.
