Dry Toes with Western Chief

This fall I finally decided that it was time to replace my old rubber boots.  I need the functionality of a well built pair of rubber boots for sloshing through the mud, but I was adamant that they be cute enough to be proudly worn in public as well. We make many trips to visit our family in the country and on the farm throughout the year and a good pair of boots are a must.

I found Western Chief while searching for some some such boots and have fallen in boot love.  (Insert random notepad doodles and hearts here).  Western Chief Women’s Splashy Prints offer a great selections of styles for knee-high rubber boots.  Their boots are incredibly well made and I know my new Ditsy Dots boots (pictured below) will last for quite some time.

Since my new boots arrived I’ve been dreaming of wearing them during Spring’s thaw, but with the reality of Fall’s cold temperatures I was really glad to also try out their Chooka boot liners.  These fleece liners come in four different colors and can be worn with both Chooka and Western Chief boots.  The removable liners fit like a sock and keep your toes toasty warm without adding a bunch of bulk.

As much as I may wish differently, please note that these liners are not meant to make your Western Chief boots into winter weather gear.  While the snow is flying my pretty new boots will be longingly gazed upon from my shoe closet, where they will safely stay until temperatures are above freezing once again.

Western Chief also offers an adorable line of Kids Gear!  Imagine my surprise when I pulled my daughter’s boots out of my car and they matched my new boots perfectly!.  Apparently, I had bought her the Western Chief Kids Dots boots this Spring and had forgotten just exactly how matchy-matchy we were to be. LOL!
