Two years ago when I first got introduced to BlenderBottle I was very excited about how well the BlenderBottle worked as a baby formula mixer. Last year, they released their insulated slings and recipe book and it was like they were growing with me as I transitioned from formula to real foods for the whole family. If you’re a BlenderBottle newbie, boy are you missing out! Each BlenderBottle contains their patented BlenderBall, a surgical-grade stainless steel mixing ball. The BlenderBall is amazing because of it’s unique mixing method that creates smooth, clump-free mixes even from the thickest of ingredients. Powder mixes don’t stand a chance!
Until last week when I got my new SportMixer I was using a BlenderBottle Classic (28-oz.) as my water bottle at the gym. The SportMixer took over the “Gym-Bag Worthy” title because it…
- Is available in a 28-ounce size and 20-ounce mini size, so I can still bring enough water for an entire workout
- Has a screw on lid with a large drink spout that doesn’t leak on me
- Still fits in my insulated tote (not as snugly as my Classic), but is a better fit for the bottle holder on the treadmill!
- Is BPA and Phthalate free, as all BlenderBottles have always been
- Mine is PURPLE!!! (it’s available in a variety of colors, but isn’t my PURPLE one pretty?)
Like the BlenderBottle Classic, the SportMixer has a snap-shut lid so you know when you’ve securely closed your bottle. It also has the stay-open feature so your lid top doesn’t swing down and knock you in the nose when taking a drink.
