Have you heard of Animal Jam toys or the app? I hadn’t heard of either until I embarked on this review. If you have kids that like Shopkins or other such collectible toys, you will want to check out the Animal Jam characters. Any animal loving child will adore these cute toys.
Let me back up. There is a video game/app called Animal Jam that kids can play online or it’s available in the app store. It’s ranked the #1 online social game for kids. The toys are based around the pets and places in this video game. National Geographic teamed up with the Animal Jam video game and it’s a new favorite in our house. The kids created their profiles and the best part about this game is that it’s FREE! I will insert one tiny bit of caution, I adjusted the settings so my kids couldn’t chat with other users. Back to the toys. Adopt a pet and accessorize it with cute wings, earrings, bows, and more. Mix and match all the accessories. It’s fun for kids to let their imaginations run wild. Some of the pets come with a ring that lights up. Hold it up close to the pet that comes with a ring and a secret design with show up under the light. Of course little girls love to wear the big light up ring when it’s not being used to reveal hidden designs on their pets. The den is a fun place for pets to gather.
The smaller packages of animals retail for $3.49 and the biggest package (the den) is $14.99. You can find these toys at most major retailers. They would make a great gift for a friend’s birthday party or even Christmas if you are an early bird shopper!
