It doesn’t get any simpler than this but your whole family will love it. It is usually my husband that is harder to get to eat veggies than my girls and he loves asparagus made this way.

Ingredients
  • 1-2 lbs asparagus, coarse ends removed
  • 2-4 TB friendly fat to roast in (butter, coconut oil, lard, bacon grease are all super flavorful and very good for you!)
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • Sea salt/pepper to taste
Instructions
  1. Toss the asparagus with the friendly fat, garlic, and seasoning on a sheet pan and spread out evenly.
  2. Roast at 400 degrees for about 25 minutes. I love the little tree tops a little “crispy” so sometimes I go a little longer – all in your preference – check them around the 20 minute mark in case you want them less “done”.

Kitchen Tips:
1. Don’t forget the babes! My girls LOVE roasted asparagus and right around when they started picking up their own food to eat they would eat these just like French fries!
2. Change up the seasonings/flavors to your family’s tastes!
