disclaimer giveaway

mellani mattress protectorWhen we purchased a bunk bed for my daughters room, we knew there were things we were going to need! As usual, sometimes things you don’t normally think of. We got sheets, pillows, mattress and comforter. What else do you think you need?

A mattress protector!

mellani
This is something we have for every mattress in our house. No exceptions! Now, I am not talking about those plastic ones that you zip onto your mattress and is all loud and uncomfortable when you sleep on it. I wanted something that was soft and waterproof for those unexpected accidents that may happen.  We got the Mellanni waterproof mattress protector for the top bunk in the twin size.
detailed
Very easy to put on the mattress and stays put with all the tossing and turning my daughter does at night. It is very plush and soft as you can see from this detailed photo of it.  With this brand being dust mite, allergen, bacteria and water proof, I definitely knew it would be the perfect one.   It is made of the highest quality material and workmanship so you know it LASTS! It’s a cotton terry surface with membrane back coating (Waterproof, Noiseless and Breathable Mattress Protector). Also, it’s vinyl free.

I definitely recommend protecting your mattresses with Mellanni.

What do you do to protect your mattress?

If I could, I would have a plastic cover for every mattress in the house, even my own. Why? In the middle of the night I still have littles crawl under the covers after a nightmare! So a little added assurance would do wonders…

I dont currently have a mattress protector but would like one. I’ve always been told their really good to have if you have allergies and this one would be great since it protects against dustmite and allergens.

Yes, I have a anti-allergy protective cover on our bed but I honestly don’t think it has done anything except be slick to the point where the fitted sheet slips off the corners every night!

We have not used a mattress protector before, but it really looks like a GREAT idea to have one on! This looks like it would be so nice and soft under the sheets.

We have a mattress protector on our daughter’s toddler bed, but have been wanting to add one to our bed, too. She does crawl in bed with us occasionally and we have an older dog that sleeps on the bed, too. We’d rather be safe than sorry!

We had one on our bed to protect from leaky sippy cups, over-full dipes, and puking kiddoes, but it was a horrible one. The waterproof layer was very loud crinkly plastic and it smelled like chemicals. Threw it out and haven’t replaced it yet. We need one!
