I love receiving subscription boxes! For me, it is fun to open a box of things I know I will love, but with the element of surprise at exactly what items will be in there. There are so many subscription boxes out there, and I love this unique box I received for a gift for my husband for Father’s Day. He was so excited when he opened it to find 2 different kinds of Chorizo and 2 different specialty hams! If you know someone who appreciates quality meat, this is the box for them! It would make a great gift or just a perfect box to order when you are having a small gathering with friends that would enjoy artisan cured meats.
The box from Carnivore Club came, and I was immediately impressed with the beautiful box that the meat came in. All the meats are ready to eat so you don’t need to rush to put the meats in the refrigerator. If you plan to save them for any length of time, it is recommended that you refrigerate them to make them last longer. Each box contains 4-6 of the finest curated meats, sure to impress any foodie! The box comes with a great description of each meat that you will enjoy. It also includes the story behind where they came from. Some of the meats you may receive include chorizo, salami, bacon jerky, and prosciutto.
Our box included:
Spicy Chorizo- Perfect paired with cheese or fried up with vegetables and served with rice.
Spanish Chorizo- Unique flavor and delicious served with cheese.
Serrano Ham- Spanish cured ham, made with high quality practices.
Jamon Iberico- “Rolls Royce of the Ham World”
The boxes can be purchased as a single box with no commitment for $55, or $50 if you choose a monthly, bimonthly, or quarterly subscription. The boxes are shipped during the first week of every month and are shipped through USPS with a tracking number sent to your email. I have been very impressed with this company as a whole. If you are looking for a great gift for a food lover, place your order by the end of July for the recipient to receive the box for August! Enter code SIMPLE to receive a 10% discount.
I usually get geek boxes and pet boxes, but this is such a creative idea. I imagine this would be a great father’s day or birthday gift.
Subscription boxes don’t interest me much but this is one I’m going to check into. My husband likes meat and I think he’d be interested in this.
My husband would love this for a gift, I will have to keep it in mind for our anniversary.
This indeed would be wonderful to give as a gift to many folks I know. I looked at their previous packages and they seem delicious.
Headed over to their site. My husband is a meat lover and this would be a great birthday gift for him.
