ibbeautiful_logoSince my daughter is now in her tween years, I am always looking out for fun and creative gift ideas for her and her friends.  I love fun finds that don’t focus too much on outer beauty and am happy to have found iBbeautiful.  iBbeautiful sends a monthly box of goodies to your teen or tween, each with a special message.
021While my daughter falls right into the tween range (8-12), that box was sold out (and I’m not surprised!) so they sent me a teen box to check out.  What I noticed first about the box was the monthly message.  This month’s theme was “walk brave”.  Can I just tell you how hard it is to be brave when you’re a teenager?  I can count way too many times when I chose fitting in over standing up for myself or other people.  Included in the box is a little postcard that says “Walk Brave” with a story on the back about both conquering fears and sticking up for yourself.  What a great way to start important conversations with your kids!  I think the cards would be great reminders for a teenager to stick in their lockers.

025In addition to the theme, the box is packed with great items.  This month’s box had a graphic tee, a “be brave” engraved necklace (a great wearable reminder), a sneaker key chain with an inspirational message (my daughter’s personal favorite), a pack of hair bands, tangerine body wash and eye cream (which I may or may not have snagged for myself).  The value of these items (not including the graphic tee) was $74.50–which is way less than the $30 monthly fee for the box!  A typical box might include accessories, body products, school supplies or nail art.  iBbeautiful also offers one-time box options as well as special occasion boxes.

  5. My favorite was this month’s box with the Kind Heart, Fierce Mind, Brave Spirit graphic tee. I also like the Happy Camper Box that is sold out. If I won, it would be for a family member.
