See, listen and talk to your child from anywhere in the home or yard with the Talk & Soothe™ Digital Video Monitor from The First Years®.

It’s overwhelming having a child, let alone having to put them in a room at night all by themselves.  This was and still a scary situation for most parents.  Being able to see into that room at night with a digital monitor is amazing.  No more having to run into my daughter’s room at night to check on her.  I can easily check the video monitor that I have laying right next to my bed and be worry free.  I simply placed the camera right on the bookshelf where no little hands could reach.

The monitor has a 600-foot range, so when I am in the basement and the baby is sleeping on the 3rd floor. It also features a 2.4-inch color LCD screen with digital zoom and pan, while the parent unit offers cry-activated viewing and automatic night vision. With the two-way-talk-back feature, you can soothe your little one without even entering the room. I do this quite a bit with my daughter and it is very helpful for her to know I am still there. Not only is it a camera but also a nightlight, that also plays three soothing lullabies that may be activated remotely.

My favorite features of the monitor:

  • 2.4 inch Color Screen
  • 2-way Talk Back
  • Automatic Night Vision
  • 3 Pre-set Soothing Lullabies
  • 600-foot range
  • Low Battery Indicator
  • Filters Background Noise

There are so many incredible milestones in the first years of a child’s life. The complete line of award-winning feeding, care, travel and nursery products from The First Years can help new parents reach these milestones safely and happily. From affordable high tech video monitors to the most thoughtful breast pump ever, to the first and only Smartphone-synched car seat, to spill-proof sippy cups with an easy-to-clean one-piece lid, The First Years offers parents the products, and the confidence in them, that will help make raising their child one of life’s most rewarding experiences.

I love being able to be “right there” and watching her at night.  I also love that I can move the camera, to get a different angle, if need be remotely.  You can also zoom in and out. This system is seriously amazing.  This system would be perfect for all types of parents, new and old.

Instead of having this in your pocket to keep with you, you can place it at your waist line with the belt hook it has on the back.  It also serves as a stand to set on a table.

Looks like a great monitor. I like that it plays music, haven’t seen another one that does that.
