christmas photographyIt’s time to start thinking about Christmas cards. I have OCCD (obsessive compulsive Christmas disorder). I love all things Christmas, but especially Christmas cards. I was more then a little bit thrilled to work with minted.com again this year. Last year it was an 80+ degree October day in California when I dressed my little family up in puffy vests, hats, and mittens. We pretended we were in the Christmas spirit and got our pictures taken. This year, it actually felt like Christmas in California. It was a grey and bone chilling 60 degree day. Stop laughing if you are from a “for real” cold area. I grew up in Michigan, I know I’m being dramatic.

 

Ginny's family Christmas photoHere is the “winning” Christmas card shot. If you can’t afford a professional photo shoot (ding – ding … that’s me!) you hopefully have a friend who will give it their best shot (pun intended). It was a very painless photo shoot, and I’m thinking my friend needs to start charging for her work. More then just dinner at my house afterwards.

 

I’m truly blessed and thankful to God for my little family. God has been very good.

Less about me, and lets talk cards! Minted.com has added ornament cards to their collection this year. I also took advantage of their free card addressing. It took a few minutes to add my addresses to my account’s database, but they are in there for next year. Time well spent. Oh, and I’m super in love with our Christmas card. It will be fun to pull it out for years to come when we decorate our tree.
