Being pregnant and bringing home that sweet bundle of joy is a feeling not one person can prepare for. As ready as you think you are, the love you experience once you place your eyes on your sweet baby are feelings that no one can ever prepare for. They are much MORE intense…and it’s just so magical!
The first connection with me was always when my baby girls were in my stomach, and when I could feel their sweet little kicks. It’s still as magical the 4th time around. I will sincerely miss this feeling as this is our final pregnancy. It’s our last round of first for our family.

Long before the days of potty training begin, you have months of diaper. Months. I never dove in to cloth diapering, so finding a reliable brand was number one concern for me. I’m sure you have all been there. You pick up some diapers, and they are quite an investment, only to find out the diapers won’t work for your child. Pampers have been reliable for me and my girls, and I was thrilled to hear that their Swaddlers version/brand have been extended in to bigger sizes. They now have size 5!
Every time I put Pampers on my daughter, I am instantly brought to when my babies were newborns. The smell is so reminiscent! Fresh and clean. At the hospitals I have delivered at with my first three girls, they used Pampers. It didn’t take long to realize after I came home and was out purchasing diapers on my own, not all are made equal. Not all had this beautiful “newborn” smell like Pampers. Their sweet little tooshies covered by Pampers is what way we go. The new Pampers are perfect whether your children are sleeping, playing or cuddling with their favorite person. 🙂 They are also the #1 worldwide diaper brand serving 25 million babies in more than 100 countries around the world, and they are STILL working to make the diapers so fabulous and keep our babies drier and happier. Matter of fact, they have made improvements on over 350 of their current skus! Those improvements include better graphics, better packaging, better absorbency and better cleaning on wipes!
You can pick up Pampers now via Pampers.com, as well as many retailers across the country! For Swaddlers, you can get those many places as well, but why not start at this link here.

Nursing my daughter was an amazing connection between us!
Definitely the first time I held my kids in my arms and saw their faces. Love at first sight!
Im trying to win these for my granddaughter who arrived into this world weighing 3.2lbs. She was in the NICU for 6 weeks. I held her for the first time when she was 1 week old and it was the most amazing feeling in the world.
I fell so in love watching my oldest hold our little one for the first time. He was only 7 and had refused to leave the hospital all day/night while I was in labor. He was so excited for his little brother to arrive.
I tried to get pregnant with my youngest for years. After much struggle and a heartbreak I finally got pregnant with him! I was so happy but then I got so so sick. I had morning sickness the entire pregnancy. I truly began t o question whether it would all be worth it. The phrase “what have I done?” Was pretty much said everyday! Even his delivery was super rough…..but when they placed him in my arms I just knew with all my heart that it was so worth it!
I did not get to see mine at first at the hospital but they were later brought to my room and I enjoyed cuddling with them but I was so scared that I would hurt them because they were small.
I felt love as soon as my children were born but the first real connection is when they’d coo and laugh when I talked to them. Thanks.

Even though it was love at first sight I enjoyed the first coos. So cute when they curl the lips to make noises back at you but no sound comes out. It’s lovely.
i loved nursing my son. the forced stop. the cuddling. i cant wait to do that again with my baby girl in a few months!
My 1st connection with my 2 daughters was when i felt them kicked for the first time inside my tummy. 🙂
When I had my daughter, and I first saw her my heart filled up with so much love all I could do was cry and thank God. When I first held her I just couldn’t stop looking at her. I didn’t want to let her go, but eventually everybody got to hold her. It was the most amazing thing that has ever happened to me. Next May my granddaughter is due, and I know the same thing will happen when I hold her. Thank you 🙂
My baby won’t be born for a few more months, but I already love him 🙂
I remember each of my children being born and the magical, instant deep love for them.
when he was born :0
When I see my children for the first time it is so overwhelmingly amazing! <3
The connections for me began when I could feel the kicking, watching them on the monitors and hearing their heartbeats! : )
The first time I saw her..priceless!
I fell in love with my daughter the first time I laid eyes on her, she is my princess, shes my world. I love her more than anything in this world.
The moment I her little voice!
Thanks for the contest!
My first connection was when he nursed for the first time!
I love the first time they nurse. I was so exhausted, but the sweet connection of that time is amazing!
My daughter was born was quite quickly on the way into my hospital room, when the nurse handed her to me I said “is it a boy or girl?” She said “no one has looked yet, why don’t you tell us” I lifted the baby and announced to the room “It’s a girl!” best moment ever, first girl after 2 boys 🙂
My first connection (at least the first connection that felt real to me) was right after they each of my children were born and I nursed them. Especially with my daughter. I just felt so close and in love with both my son and daughter.
My first love came out a screaming and that’s about all he does until this day at 2.5 years old. Than my 2nd love I was worried about she didn’t cry until they smacked on her feet, but shes a lot better than my son, but she still has a set of lungs when he aggravates her, shes 1.5 years old.
I really fell in love the first time I heard their heartbeats. It made it real for me <4
My favorite was the first smile – especially after dealing with colic!
For me, it was that first moment of holding my daughter after she was born. I was so happy to finally have her in my arms.

I have reached the stage of having grandchildren so I will talk about that. When I saw my granddaughter for the very first time, my heart melted. I never dreamed I could love anyone as much as I did my girls but grandchildren are a step beyond even. I guess because you get to have all the love without all the responsibility of day to day decisions
That first snuggle
I loved the bonding I had with both of our babies when nursing for the first tine!
I has to be the skin to skin contact right after birth, or the first time he kicked me.
Although I did feel a connection when I was pregnant, that first touch of your baby on your chest was when I fell head over heels for all my babies
having all my babies and IMMEDIATELY feeling the love when they are snuggled up on you is amazing. having my first daughter after 3 boys this past year was incredibly special for me.

I love how my 4 month old son puts his feet together and also he curls his toes on everything. So cute!
After my son was delivered, he was immediately placed on my chest for skin-to-skin contact and just cuddled right up. Melted my heart!
holding my baby for the first time
When I found out I was pregnant with my first one, I felt a strong connection to him. I did not know it was a boy yet but after the clinic I went to a baby store and I pick a blue outfit the caught my eye.
My kids would almost ALWAYS ‘kick’ Dad before they were born… 😉
When I felt my baby move for the first time 😉
I first felt a connection when I held my new niece for the first time.
When I first saw his face on the ultrasound 🙂
As soon as my son started kicking me, we had an instant connection. When I held him in my arms for the first time, we had a bond that will never be broken.
My first connection with my baby was during the ultrasound when I saw him kicking around and saw his little heart pumping fast!!
Not to ruin the vibe, but I don’t have a story. I’m entering to win for my cousin and his wife. They are about to have their 2nd child.
I have a new niece and I love snuggling her.
as soon as i saw that beautiful head and face in the ultrasound it was instant love and gratification! I could not believe i was finally becoming a mom!
I REALLY love my children and my grandsons but I have this very special connection with my only granddaughter. She’s now two and has this same connection with me. We both get upset when we have to part ways. I have to bribe her with treats to leave my house. She enjoys just sitting in my lap and looking at me. It’s as though she is memorizing my face.
The moment I laid eyes on him, I knew love. I put him on my chest and felt whole with my husband next to me
as strange as it may sound… when I was pregnant with my first child, and her hands looked like a horror movie coming thru my skin….I realized it was for real! It seemed scary but about as real as it gets! I loved it!
I love my little ones raspberries.
i would say it was as soon as I saw her
I like helping my niece learn to walk & discover new things.
Feeling the baby kicking inside you is the most amazing feeling 🙂
I first felt the connection when I found out I was pregnant with my boys. It only grew stronger as i saw their little heartbeat, felt them kick, heard their first cry, held them for the first time, nursed them for the first time and watched them grow.
when my baby smiled at me for the first time:)
With all three of my babies I first felt love when I felt them move in my belly and then that first ultrasound with that little heartbeat!
From my first 16 yrs ago to my 4th and last a year ago that moment of knowing I was pregers my heat just filled it is amazing how full it gets everytime!!!
First connection is seeing the heartbeat and then feeling them kick.
For me it was hearing them in the delivery room. They (twins) were so small their cries sounded like kittens
I felt I had a connection with all 4 of my kids when I was pregnant, but when they were born it was even stronger and the waterworks would not stop. I had such a love for each one in that instant I couldn’t express it with words.
Honestly, when we had our first child, I was a daycare provider so I was used to giving the baby back at the end of the day. It took me weeks to finally feel like she was mine and I was going to be able to keep her! LOL.
With our next three boys, I was no longer doing daycare and I fell in love and laid my stakes immediately! 🙂 I loved holding them (pretty much 24/7) and enjoying each and every minute! I’m hoping we can still add another to our family!
I love nursing my daughter because she’ll wrap her hand around my finger and if I try to pull away she just holds on tighter. I melt.
The connection started the first time I felt the baby kick!
The first time I held both of my daughters I felt an immediate connection. There’s just something about those sweet baby cuddles that melt your heart. I think the first time both of my young grandsons smiled at me was when I felt a connection.
For each of my three children, the first time I nursed them was such an amazing bonding moment. Especially with my second son, who I wasn’t able to nurse right away because he had surgery when he was 2 days old and couldn’t nurse for 3 weeks.
Staring into my daughters eyes as she nurses.
This would be for my niece. I felt connected to her early on. My sister and I haven’t las was been close but in the past 10 years we gave connected and now are closer than ever.
Of course when baby first comes out but also for me its being alone with your baby for first time looking, cuddling ,loving them. Amazing how something so great came from u!
When I had my son I felt more love than I knew even existed… then when I had my daughter, seeing the love between the two of them even when they first met.. oh it just melted my heart… it’s what life is all about, it’s so amazing!
