Mega Bloks Barbie build n play imageI have fought it long and hard.  But I have lost the battle.  Barbie has invaded our house!  Given the fact that I currently have 3 little girls, with one on the way, it was inevitable.  So instead of fighting it, we are now embracing it!!  One of the coolest things that my oldest daughter has seen lately is the Mega Bloks Barbie® Build ‘n Play Super Star Stage.  We actually first saw this at Target a few weeks back, and then I was contacted to share this great item with you all.  I gave them a resounding YES!

This is ideal for ages 5-10.  I am not sure their exact reasoning behind this age request, however I know why I would want a 5-10 year old playing with this…and not younger.  There are little pieces…I mean LITTLE!  We have it all organized, so I’m not worried about my 2 year old snatching them up. 🙂Mega Bloks Barbie build n play CoverIt comes with these little barbies (3 of them!!), that my 7 year old is just in love with.  They are the perfect size for her to carry them around in her purse.  What kid this age doesn’t love the little “trinket” type things?  These are bigger than your typical trinket, so I’m all about it.  You can have this as a great “starter” set and then combine it with the other Mega Bloks Barbie® sets to create something bigger and better!Mega Bloks Barbie build n playOk, enough of my thoughts, check out the DETAILS below…

Get ready to rock ‘n roll with Barbie® and her friends as they put on the hottest show in town with the Mega Bloks Barbie® Build ‘n Play Super Star Stage. Build this huge two-story rock show any way you want with 5 stage pieces and real concert controls that let you direct the show in two different ways!

Mode One lets you start up the real multi-color flashing lights and change between four different songs as Barbie® and her friends play their latest hits that will be sure to get all of her fans rocking!

Mode Two lets you choose the music! Play or sing along to your favorite songs on the radio and the concert lights will flash right along to the music! Put on a show filled with all of your favorite songs that Barbie®’s fans will never forget!

Special concert pieces like silver scaffolding, huge amplifiers, glittering blocks and a sparkling disco ball set the mood, while the stage elevator and large video screen lets everyone enjoy watching Barbie® perform anywhere at the concert. Hit the lights, check the sound and roll camera as Super Star Barbie®, Raquelle® and Teresa® get up on stage and rock the roof off with a keyboard, guitar and 3 different microphones.

You guys, this toy is a HOT item for the upcoming gift giving season.  I highly recommend it IF you have a child in the age range specified.  Hours of fun will ensue with this.  The opportunities are endless, just like with so many of the other Mega Bloks products!!
