BABYBJÖRN logoBeing pregnant with our fourth child, I really didn’t feel we would have to get a lot and/or “need” a lot this final time around.  That is, until I saw the cradle from BABYBJÖRN.  I originally heard about this awesome product last year at the ABC Kids Expo.  When I found out we were expecting again, I knew this was something we had to have that was going to make life easier after our 4th blessing arrived.  Main reason being, we had our other three in a little starter home that was perfect at that time. We quickly outgrew that home and now are in a much larger home where the bedrooms aren’t next door any more.  That equated in my head to middle of the night feedings and stairs.  Not a good combination if I didn’t have to do that.  Enter….the BABYBJÖRN Cradle!

I could not be more thrilled to experience, first hand, the cradle from BABYBJÖRN.  Not only is it very pleasing to the eye with the simplicity of the design, but it’s functions are simple and perfect.  One of my girlfriends “tested” this out for me so that I could get first hand experience on it for you all!  Between her thoughts shared with me and my thoughts, I put together some nifty bullets points on why YOU need this 🙂

  • It’s sleep, stylish and minimalist in my eyes.  It’s not an eyesore in the middle of the room.  It goes with a lot of different decor if you will be having this out for all to see.
  • I love the color of the wood on the side.  Again, very stylish.
  • The metal feet have rubberized padding on the ends so that it for one, stays.  But second of all, doesn’t scratch or catch on whatever flooring you have.  BABYBJÖRN side shot of cradle
  • In addition, this design offers the baby to “rock” him/herself to sleep.  With the baby’s movement, motion is created due to the design of this cradle.  Totally awesome I think!  If the baby is restless and you don’t know what to do, give the cradle a nudge for the movement to begin as well.
  • I’m thrilled about the mesh siding.  With all the scares for babies passing in their sleep, I love that this is mesh!BABYBJÖRN mesh siding on cradle
  • The mattress is included.
  • Very easy to assemble.
  • The cradle is very lightweight, 13 lbs to be exact! It’s also not large.  It is 26 inches tall, 31 inches long and 23 inches wide.  Smaller obviously when it’s folded.
  • This cradle is great for moving a sleeping baby from room to room or for traveling too.

I hope you have learned a lot about this and why it would be great for your family or to give as a gift to a friend/family member. I highly encourage you to check this out further with the links provided in this email as well as the links below. 🙂

And, for us, for now…Elmo will enjoy his lush bed…

  16. I love this cradle & would love to have it for my little guy! Love the Bouncer Balance Soft too!

  21. I’ve always liked their bouncers. Such a simple design and sleek looking too but gets the job done!

    1. This cradle is so cute and genius! I had a baby 2 weeks ago and getting up out the bed every 2 hours has been exhausting. This is just what we need! And since BabyBjorn makes it, I know it has to be great. Their products are awesome!

  29. I like the Bounce Balance Soft! The sleek and slim design is really attractive and functional.

  34. I love everything Baby Bjorn. Their bibs are the best, but I’ve always had my eye on the babysitter balance. Love the design – it is modern and stylish!

  35. I still love the Baby Bjorn Original Carrier!!! There’s something about carrying a tiny baby!

  53. I also love to have their Travel Crib Light. I like that it is lightweight and easy to set up.

  55. I have a few of their products already, I’d definitely like either the cradle or the high chair.

  64. This cradle looks great! It would take up a lot less space in our room than the travel pack ‘n’ play we have our little one in currently.

  75. Baby carrier with sun cover. Love the new blue carriers they have, but need this cradle the most.
