Father’s Day is just a week and half away. Are you looking for a gift idea? I like to look for unique gifts for my dad that he wouldn’t buy himself. He feels badly if I spend money on him, but I always find a little something to send him. It’s been 15 years since we’ve been able to spend Father’s Day together. While that sounds dreadfully sad, I do get to see my dad a few times a year. Living on opposite sides of the country can be tough on the special days, but I’m so thankful for the quality time we do have.
My dad loves trying new foods and I know he loves garlic as much as I do. As promised in this post, here’s more about the Maui onion garlic butter from King’s Hawaiian. What a delightful ingredient to have in our fridge to give a blast of flavor to our everyday recipes. When you open the jar it smells like fresh garlic bread. Speaking of bread. The first thing to do with this onion garlic butter is spread it on a King’s Hawaiian roll. You can take it up another level and toast your bun, spread the garlic butter, and add a burger. It’s out of this world!
We have been using this butter to jazz up our veggies too. The Trader Joe’s frozen beans are our favorite. Add a plop of Maui onion garlic butter and season as desired. Sorry, plop isn’t a pretty word. Add some butter and your beans will be delicious!
If you would like to try this butter too, HERE is a link to purchase this garlicy treat. I hope you find it as delightful as we do!
