red letter agent :: rejoice

Before listening to Red Letter Agent‘s Rejoice EP I had never heard of them… and that was a total tragedy!  I loved this 4-song holiday themed album and can completely picture our family listening to it on Christmas morning as we start our day.

The Nashville based group’s holiday release, Rejoice, presents evocative arrangements of traditional and
original (Rejoice) holiday tunes cleverly crafted toward their notably Brit-pop infused American Indie rock platform.

1) O Come, O Come Emmanuel
2) The First Noel
3) O Holy Night
4) Rejoice

I’ve found that sometimes when I buy a complete regular length holiday album I only end up liking half the tracks which is why I wish there were more holiday albums like Rejoice from Red Letter Agent where it’s short and sweet and every track is home run.

In fact, their other two albums are short and sweet, and not terribly expensive too… maybe just the thing to get for the “Brit-pop infused American Indie Rock” lover in your life this holiday season.

Rejoice :: $3.96
