keurig brewing systems :: review

Are you a coffee lover? I know my family is. For the longest time we would always go through several coffee makers. They would either just not work right or the coffee was terrible.

That’s when I found Keurig. I researched several different types of brewers. Keurig is the one that stood out the most to me.

My husband and I drink coffee. I drink decaf and he drinks regular. We do not have the same taste in coffee at all. Since this is the case I love the fact that Keurig’s brewers are single cup portions.

When we received the Platinum Home Brewing System, we immediately fell in love with it. Not only are we able to have the coffee that each of us likes, we only make one cup at a time, so you aren’t wasting a whole pot of coffee. There are 5 different cups sizes on the Platinum Brewer. The reservoir holds 60oz (that’s like 10 cups) of water so you don’t have to frequently change it, unless you have a lot of coffee in one day.Keurig Review

It’s great I don’t have to deal with coffee grounds, messy filter bags, and those uneven brews because of the invariably different amounts of coffee I put in the filter. The Platinum turns having a good cup of Java—or tea for that matter—into a one button effort.

The Platinum brewer offers a full spectrum of features including Auto On/Off, Digital Clock, Adjustable Temperature Control and the “Set Your Favorite Cup Size” option.

The Keurig single-cup brewing system uses a special packaging for coffee, tea and hot cocoa called K-Cup® portion packs or “K-Cups®”. Each K-Cup is an airtight, mini-brewer that locks out oxygen, light, moisture and humidity while locking in freshness and flavor. There are over a dozen flavors. They even have decaf and organic coffee.

Keurig boasts that it has “Quiet Brew” technology. I wonder what it was like before. It is very quiet. And you will have a fresh cup of coffee in minutes. This is very convenient for families on the go, because you are able to fit a travel size mug under it.
