About three years ago I started recycling some of the quart size canning jars in my house to drink coffee. At the time this was an attempt from one very tired momma to efficiently use my time. Basically, I figured that by using a larger drinking mug I would only have to prep one cup of coffee and would then have more time to actually drink said coffee.
It didn’t take much time for me to find one itty-bitty problem with my super-sized drink ware… Leaky Chin Syndrome. You see, as much as the larger size drink ware was AWESOME, wearing a coffee-stained shirt was not.
Fast forward a couple years and I’ve finally found a solution to my problem. Cuppow is a brilliant little invention that lets you turn any standard sized regular or wide-mouth canning jar into a travel mug! Depending on your canning jar size of choice all you need is the appropriately sized Cuppow Canning Jar Drinking Lid and the canning ring to hold the Cuppow drinking lid on the jar.
We have been using our Cuppow Canning Jar Drinking Lids for a couple weeks now and I can honestly say that I have not had a single instance of dribbling down my chin! Even more fun, Cuppow has multiple colors for both sizes of Cuppow Canning Jar Drinking Lids.
Cuppow recently came out with another piece of brilliance, the Cuppow BNTO Canning Jar Lunchbox Adaptor. The BNTO is a little cup that fits wide-mouth canning jars making it possible to hold two different foods in one jar. You’ll need both a canning disk and ring to create a leak-proof seal with the BNTO, but then you’re good to go and keep your foods from touching before you want them to (nothing worse than limp lettuce, soggy granola, or messy veggie sticks).
