As a parent there are no toys that I enjoy more than the ones that run 100% on imagination. I especially love the non-battery operated toys that can get all three of my kids to play happily together. For these reasons, one of our family’s all time favorite toys to keep in the house are building blocks.
Building blocks come in many different shapes, colors. We recently discovered Brain Blox building planks and they are one of those great sets that can be used to create fantastic and imaginative creations all on their own, or easily mixed in with existing sets of mix-match blocks you own to expand your building capabilities.
My kids were very excited to try out the 200 piece Brain Blox set as they let their imaginations go wild. While the recommended ages on the box is 4-104 years, even the 3 year old had fun simply lining the Brain Blox up in a row to make a “road” for his toy cars. While the youngest in the family was occupied with his road construction, the older two girls had fun as they quickly assembled their own creations.
Brain Blox differ from other building block sets that you may find in that they are building planks. Each Brain Blox plank is 8 mm x 24 mm x 120 mm, made of all-natural New Zealand Pine, and are chemical free with no paint and no stain. Each set also comes with a free draw string backpack which is perfect for storing the blocks or being able to take them along on road trips or a weekend at the lake!
