I am loving all of the monthly subscription services out there. For someone like me who hates making decisions and equally dislikes spending time at the mall, it’s kind of perfect getting something handpicked for me delivered right to my door. And a huge bonus is when I can get those items at a discount….
One of my favorite Christmas traditions that I started when my kids were just babies was that Santa always brings each of them a plush doll or animal. Sometimes in their stockings, sometimes too big to fit in their stockings, but always a new plush to snuggle for the year. Each year we Santa picks a…
I’m super thrilled that minted.com picked us to feature their cards again this year. I found “the one” very quickly. I’m not usually so decisive, but I fell in love. Sounds corny, but it was love at first sight. Yes, I feel that passionately about my Christmas cards. I really enjoy picking, preparing, and sending them. Getting the perfect…
To get in the mood to write this post, I let myself burn the Magical Frosted Forest Christmas candle I was sent to review. I wish it magically cleaned my home while it made it smell so crisp and fresh, but it’s not quite perfected to do that just yet. I associate Christmas with my favorite…
“I participated in an Influencer Activation on behalf of Influence Central for Kenwood Vineyards. I received product samples and a promotional item to thank me for my participation.” Boom! And just like that, you are probably thinking about what will be served NEXT WEEK at your family’s Thanksgiving dinner. Are you hosting it or are…

This is…
For the past two months all I have heard about from my son is tractors and combines and BIG tractors and more tractors! See, the farmers in our area have been very busy harvesting their fields and we drive by a lot of fields on our way to school each and every day. It actually…
They say that music makes the world go ‘round. It definitely helps me put one foot in front of the other whether I’m rocking out on a treadmill or mowing the lawn. I love those brief moments when I’m alone listening to only my music. Until I accidentally catch the cable in my arm and…
It’s that time of year. Time to get all gussied up and take some pictures showing off your beautiful family. It’s time to show everyone who has made your list just how much your kiddos have grown this year. It’s time to get pretty and get the postage out to share the love this holiday…
My kids, like so many of yours, are active. So active, at times I wonder if they downed a bowl of sugar when I wasn’t looking! They just have such an incredible amount of energy that I don’t know what to do with them! This turns in to a huge problem when we are covered…
In a few short weeks we’ll have stacks of presents sitting under our Christmas tree. Wrapping paper and bows shining under the twinkling lights. It will be picturesque. And minutes later, that beautiful scene will give way to a new scene — a living room covered in scraps of wrapping paper, bows, empty boxes and…
