Ok, before I gush too much, you need to read my first review of Mo Phillips and his CD Monster Suit. Read it HERE.I have never met Mo in person, but his fan club emails just make me want to hug him! He is sweet, silly, goofy, funny, and an amazing musician. He has a huge heart and loves to play music for children and families. The next time I’m in Portland, I am SO looking him up!
Now, on to his music. Mo is a Kindie Rocker – his music is filled with folksy rhythms and melodies. Some songs are mellow and relaxing, while others are energetic and bouncy. But whether it’s a slower jam or a fast groove, Mo’s music is always fun! And I really love his voice. His cadence is very unique and suits his folksy style to a tee.
