#aSIMPLEchristmas gift for the foodie with slateplate

Merry Christmas from theSIMPLEmoms

I need to start this off by saying, I’m feeling really sophisticated right about now. As I went to plate up my Thanksgiving day contribution, I was super excited that I had a beautiful plate to display my creation! No boring dish for me this year… nope! I used SlatePlate!! 🙂

Slate Plate 2Even as I was carrying my “veggie tray” into my in-laws’ house, I was being complimented on the beautiful plate I was holding. “Veggie tray” just seems boring to say… it’s overdone, common-place, unexciting, BUT with SlatePlate, my “veggie tray” was a sophisticated piece of art work. As family members looked past the veggies and asked my about the beautiful plate the food was on, I was able to smile with pride and talk about how awesome SlatePlate is!

Made 100% in the USA, I am proud to say that every component of this product is made in America. From the workers who hand cut the slate, to the little rubber feet on the bottom of the plate (super convenient and functional I might add), everything is made in America! This great nation has so many natural beauties… slate is one of them!! 🙂

Each piece that you purchase from SlatePlate is unique. Being made in nature, you will not find another piece just like it. I like knowing that MY plate is one of a kind! It is not perfectly smooth like a chalkboard, but you can definitely USE it like one. Add a little pizzaz to your next cheese and wine tasting or do like I did and add a fun saying to your next creation! The possibilities are endless with SlatePlate.

So if you have a foodie in the family, this would be the PERFECT Christmas present, or perhaps you can just buy one for yourself and wrap it “from Santa Claus” this year 🙂

  1. I’ve seen something like this at whole foods – and smaller ones, too, and ppl buying them up! Nice!
